I'm sure the highlight *is* perfectly visible, perhaps for a vast majority of users. But not for me. (And I doubt I'm alone.)
I agree that orange would be jarring. For me the highlight in previous versions worked perfectly well. Is there a workaround, an easy way an individual user can override the change and restore the highlight to what it was? (I've tried switching themes, but that doesn't seem to affect the highlight.) This change has been ported upstream. Does that mean that upstream has accepted it? I appreciate the efforts of your design team to provide the best experience for the majority of Ubuntu users. But at the end of the day, I need something that works for me. Yes, if you can find a solution in a previous design, I would be most grateful. Thank you.
