[Bug 489699] Re: sound-juicer unable to rip all tracks

2009-11-30 Thread Jeff Garrett
OK, given the problem was in cdparanoiasrc, and given that cdparanoia worked fine (3.10.2+debian-8), I tried rebuilding gstreamer0.10-plugins- base against that version of cdparanoia-dev (btw, seems the build- depends are pointing at incorrect package names for the gir dependencies)... et voila,

OK, so I ran the gst-launch command: gst-launch cdparanoiasrc track=7 \! fakesink with GST_DEBUG=4 and GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR set. I add the logfile produced (until the first scsi_read error). The track listing looks odd (there are 13 tracks in reality, not 272). ** Attachment added: "gstreamer d

I ran sound-juicer with brasero-media-debug on and attached the stdout & stderr. On this CD, it extracts tracks 1 - 6, and on track 7, it begins to print the scsi_read errors (and never gets past extracting track 7). Asking for negative sectors sure seems fishy. Not sure if it's sound-juicer or
