I ran sound-juicer with brasero-media-debug on and attached the stdout & stderr.
On this CD, it extracts tracks 1 - 6, and on track 7, it begins to print the scsi_read errors (and never gets past extracting track 7). Asking for negative sectors sure seems fishy. Not sure if it's sound-juicer or libbrasero-medium0 which is actually responsible for the garbage.
