Ok, I think I've found the problem.
The problem is the new Universal Printer Driver from Samsung, which you can
install for all Samsung printers nowadays.
When you install this driver on a Windows machine (tested with XP x86 and 7
x64), then printing will fail to the Samsung printer attached to

I'm running Transmission 1.93 (10621) on Ubuntu 10.04, as a headless server,
and I keep getting the same "Permission Denied" error.
I notice too that Transmission uses ~/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json
as a config file, and not the one I edit,

I cannot find a document which stops the queue. It hasn't happened roughly for
two months in my case.
Someone should test with a document that used to cause the queue to hang: I
don't remember what documents used to do that. It's been a while. :-(

You can use the foomatic drivers instead of the Splix drivers, they seem
to work better with CUPS. This doesn't solve the problem of Spilx
though.

I'm affected by the exact same problem, although I'm running 10.04 final now
and have a Samsung ML-2010, it's been going on for the past six months, where I
ran 9.10 and several alpha's and beta's of 10.04.
Indeed reinstalling the printer clears the queue and makes it possible to print
again, bu

Like voneiden says: please read the bug before commenting.
The fans work perfectly before suspending to ram, hence no BIOS setting is
wrong. Only after a suspend to ram the fans stay on.
