After a bit of googling, I found this forumpost: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/97186/#p97186
And this worked for me, both the internal mic and the speakers work perfectly. What I did was: I downloaded the latest Alsa drivers from here: http://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/alsa/alsa-driver/ The 20110128 is the latest of the time writing. Untarred them Then: ./configure make sudo make install-modules Lastly I added options snd_hda_intel model=hp at the end of the of the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf reboot, and this did the trick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708713 Title: No sound from speakers HP Mini 110 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
