Erro
Managed to fix it, ran gparted from usb and deleted all partitions from
the installation HDD, installed again and all worked. Before I had Win
10 installed on the HDD.

I have the same problem. Mine is not a new installation but an upgrade
from 12.04. Empathy had no trouble with Google Chat before the upgrade.
I am using two factor authentication on the Google account. I tried
generating a new application key and entered as password but that did
not fix the probl
This is still an issue on my Dell Studio XPS 16 running a freshly
installed Ubuntu 11.04 beta 1.
The fix works. Just add that options line to alsa-base.conf and reboot
will fix it.

I have this bug too. I could not remove the myspell-en-za package
because of dependencies. Instead I did:
sudo rm /usr/share/myspell/dicts/en_ZA.*
This fixed the issue.

If you are trying to use the Logitech MX900 dock as a bluetooth dongle on 9.10
you can do so by using hid2hci. It isn't in the distribution, but you can get
the source from here:

The only solution with positive results I found is:
1) Uninstall Firefox 3.6.4 Namoroka (synaptic package manager)
2) Delete from the repositories (system-synaptic package manager) the
"mozilla" line,
3) Reload the new repositories
4) Install Firefox 3.5 (synaptic package manager)

If I use the live CD (version 9.04) and select "Icelandic" under the
"Keymap" everything works fine- the command line uses the Icelandic
keyboard layout and so does the rest of the system.
