My Travelmate 5320 was suffering from a black screen on resume, adding
SUSPEND_MODULES="psmouse" fixed this issue for me in Hardy. Intrepid on
the other hand works 100% after a fresh install, the only distro so far

Update: I copied the ee binary (along with the libraries it requires) to
local machine and it still has the same problem.
With other X servers (Fedora's, X-Win32) it seems to work fine.
I can supply the binary (old RHEL Gnome ee 0.3.12) if anyone is

Another update. Got it to happen again, this time as soon as I started
downloading. Rhythmbox is definitely still working along, it's just the
UI that stops. When I killed the app and started it again the progress

Could you run pidgin with the "--debug" option? Better even, start
pidgin like this:
pidgin --debug > debug
This will write all debug messages from pidgin to the file "debug" in the
directory where you executed pidgin.
After your box crashes post relevant part of debug here.

Lightning was working fine when I was working on my old machine
(upgraded from Edgy->Feisty->Gutsy->Hardy). On my new machine, I'm
getting the same issues described in this report with a fresh install of
Hardy. I've tried both the version in official repos and from Mozilla

I have had at least one kernel panic. However, the freeze that I get is
often not a complete freeze. I can minimally interact with X, bringing
up menus and such, but I can't start programs or switch to a virtual
