Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-pilot

on pressing the hotsync button on the cradle there are three copies of
the gnome-pilot settings window opened on the desktop. There is no
synchronisation of the data whether or not the settings windows are left
open or closed. The palm pilot reports that the connection could not be
established.

Before the upgrade to 8.10 (beta) this worked fine. I'm using a Tungsten
T3 on the supplied USB cradle.
