Well that's not true. Let me rephrase. The version of Spindle for E3.2
is available via online update is there - but it is broken! Which is
why I have not announced its availability.

Has anyone been successful getting Spindle to work with the new Eclipse
3.2 release candidates? I tried it on RC1a and RC2, it downloads and
installs, but there is no sign of it after restarting Eclipse. None of
my other plugins seem to have any trouble. I don't use the majority o

acceptance. Even a shoddy framework with great tooling can gain popularity,
whereas an ideologically sound framework with no tooling stays on the
margins. Good tooling should therefore be a priority IMHO, otherwise people

wouldn't neccesarilly call it a "fear". It would probably be for the
benefit of having a much earlier T5 Spindle.
If Geoff is pressed for time anyway, it may make more sense to start

work, so his efforts are on that direction... one has to pay the bills.
Really hope that Marks fears don't come true and that Spindle doesn't skip

agnostic" part of Spindle (which is great for Hugo and tapidea) and am
now tackling the algorithm for 'finding
I believe that Spindle for Tap 4.0 is still in an early development.
The latest release is intended for Tap 3.0.3 and so it could be that it
gives you some DTD inconsistencies based on the version assumption.

The current incarnation of Spindle is completely unaware of Tapestry
4.0. I'm suprised that it doesn't break when you change the DTDs

It's Spindle targeted directly at Eclipse 3.1 Final. Won't install in
anything but Eclipse 3.1.

This is slightly unrelated, but since this thread seems to be quite
active, guess I'll ask here:
What's the historical reason behind Spindle using the com.iw namespace
instead of, say, net.sf.spindle?
Just curious.. fwiw, it works fine for me on 3.1RC1 / Mac.
