What about the Nuance vocalizer latest version?
I do not see why not as her phone is one of the newer models. I can stand
corrected but in order for Talks to read the emotican, you need to have
punctuation turned off. I have a C5.00 and when going down through the list
of punctuation, Talks did not read every one. I must have a look and se
Hello fellow Talks users,
I have downloaded and successfully installed Talks 5.31 on my Nokia N95 8GB
phone. I understand most of the improvements apply to newer models, one being
the emoticons screen when composing a text message. I quote the following

If you haven't done so yet, you could also run a trial license and at that
point! You would be able to run and try all the voices. Also keep in mind the
other screen reader also charges for other types of voices then what you have
initially gotten. Any Talks dealer should be able to add the vcm
Yes i'm one who is on other list, but that doesn't mean i've move off of
Symbian for my primary phone. I think there are people who like Symbian phones
along with other phones that have buttons for doing things over a full touch
screen and use both or more types of phones for different things.
Some! I remember when there were several e-mails a day on this list for
months and months. I know members who used to be on the list and they are
on other lists and I know they have moved on!

I don't think 8 months is too long to wait between releases. I'll let
others complain about the amount of content in this release. That's
inevitable with any release.
I'm sure many people have moved to Apple/Google, but I think the emails
the last few days show that there are still some Talks user

I hope not, as I am rather tired of all of this additional forking out that
seems to be a part of talks, but if that is the case, it would explain why
on both of my talks phones, the VCM voices don't show up.

hi Kit, i could get the search results from older as well as new talks versions.
1. i am really disappointed that even after 6 months of development on

Don't you need to pay for a licence to use them? You already have Eloquence
so any other voice as I understand it requires additional payment.

I installed the 2 english ones on my phone, and as far as I can tell, they

Love it Stephen. I concur with all you say re turning off phone after

Yes Simon you are confused!
Yes Simon you are confused! Read the file name you gave character by
character and you will find that there is a 0 in there. IE it says Talks 5 3
0 2 and not Talks 5 3 2. So the Talks 5 31 4 is the latest version.

hello all,
am now totally confused, as there now seem to be 2 latest versions of talks,
the one that has recently been mentioned, 5.31, and on the talknav page, there
now seems to be a 5.32 version, or so the file name would seem to suggest, as
it is, "talks_530_2_signed.sisx"
