Just wondering have you turned off and on your phone after installing
Talks? This is true if going up to the new version and also if you then
decide to go back to the prior release! You should turn off and on your
phone before you start testing. This is true for any Talks release. You
should always turn off and on your phone after installing a Talks
release.
I'm not saying this will fix your issue but I know that people forget to
do that as far as turning off and on your phone after installing Talks.
As far as testing, I would probably assume if people have an E6, that
they
probably put Belle on it and don't run Anna any more being Belle has
been
out for about 1 year or so? But that is just a guess on my part. Also I
did see a comment in the release notes that states at this point, you
shouldn't update to the latest Belle do to some other issues which I've
read was released within the last 2 months or so.
For me, I like the fact that call waiting is now automatically read when
on a call and the Talks isn't muted. But again I don't use my phone as a
internet device. I mainly use it to make and receive calls. Yeh I know
it
is a older phone but it still works well with over 7,940 hours of talk
time on it in about 3.5 years or so. Wow that is slightly over 330 days.
Another 35 days of Talking and I can say the phone has a years worth of
talk time on it! <chuckle>

Eleanor, could pls test now before u upgrade to latest talks with your
E6
symbian Belle.
Just open google.com, go to edit area and enter a search to see if it
can
provide results. TQ.
For the sake for testing with Talks V5.30.2, I downgraded back to old
version and to my dismay, same bugs.
In google, not even able to search as it refreshes after I press ok and
when
I select classic, I can enter, text remain but no matter how many times
I
press on search button, it just doesn't move.
Lol, what improvement is in this version then other then the bug on
edit
area for FB and so on and also combo.
I suppose none of the testers have E6 to play around with, smiles.
Regards,
KITT.

Subject: [Talks] E6 and Talks.
Hi all, specially E6 users.
I am still using E6 with symbian Anna. To be honest, I have never tried
this
during the time I am using talks V5.30.2 but now have this problem when
I
upgraded to latest Talks V5.31.4.
When I open google.com, I can enter search text in the edit field but
the
moment I press ok, sort of the screen will refresh and focus back to
top
of
screen, edit box clear off, no more text and just that. no matter how
many
times I tried, same result. the text in edit field disappear and no
search
result appearing.
I then selected classic google. I tried the same thing, enter search
text,
then ok. This time the text is still in the edit box after ok but when
I
press Search button to start search, nothing moves.
Can E6 users try it out please, either Anna or Belle.
E6 users with Belle, can u pls try out the news talks V5.31.4. Can the
navigation key be used to move from icon to icon on home screen? or
still
not able to.
Thanks in advance.
KITT.
