I just tried it again the recording went for about 2 seconds then just aborted. It captured talks saying 0 percent. the longest recording I have been able to achieve today was 24 seconds. It worked fine before I updated the phone as I use the voice recorder a lot. In some ways this is worse

That is the Not Symbolor caret Symbol. Never had a reason to use it on the cell phone. At least JAWS calls it the Carret Symbol. When looking through the Symbol screen on my N95, I do not find any Not or Carret Symbol. So this could meen one of many things. 1. Talks reads it as something else.
