Hello everyone.
I saw the call for help with documentation over at
http://aperiodic.net/screen/doc-requirements and I wanted to try to
contribute. I don't have any experience with git or texinfo but I'll pick
up what I can. This is my first patch submission. Comments are welcomed.

Here is my take to documenting the split -v function. I wasn't sure how
strongly or bluntly to word the caveat.
Suggestions are welcomed.

I have made a small patch to reflect the expiration of the sorendition
command for both the man page and the texinfo manual.

I've run off course just a little. As I was going through the texinfo
document, I saw a lot of inconsistancies about default keybindings. I've
tried to verify the bindings against the texinfo document, the manpage,
and in process.c . This is my attempt to clean these up.

Attached is a patch to document the layout command.
I want to apologize. I hadn't really used layouts before, so I had to do
a lot of experimenting before I had a clue what was going on. I don't
claim to have clue now, but this is what I got written up. If something's
way off base, please let me
Adding the extra text from the man page into the texinfo manual seemed
straightforward. One thing I wanted to do was to include a table of what
the builtin digraphs were. In the manual it states, "The next two
characters typed are looked up in a builtin table...". The user inside me
asked, "well,
As requested in http://aperiodic.net/screen/doc-requirements , I've added
documentation about the -p+ option. I also took the liberty of adding
documentation about the -O option mentioned is Savannah bug #23596.
Comments welcomed.

Hello everyone. This patch I have included is to document the groups
feature. I have also included minor adjustments to the 'select' and
'windowlist' commands. Feedback is welcomed.

Back in
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/screen-devel/2009-11/msg3.html , I
submitted a patch to include documentation for window groups. Looking at
that patch I realized I was missing documentation for the command called
'group'. To correct this, I have attached a new patch that is to replac
This patch that I have attached is to add documentation about the new
mousetrack command that was recently added. It seemed simple and
straightforward. Comments are welcomed.

Thanks Sadrul. I am still curious about previous patches that I have
submitted and not seen any debate on:

Gosh, without having to put up a fight for previous material, I'll
continue down this way.
This small patch includes basic info about the '-T' commandline option.
This option shows up in 'screen -h', but not in the texinfo manual nor
the man page. This patch affects only the texinfo manual.

Looking at the documentation of the 'maptimeout' command, it looked
strange to me seeing 'timo' as the argument. I replaced these with an 'n'
to reflect more of the integer nature of the argument.

Hello. Attached is a patch to document the command focusminsize. It seems
somewhat terse as this command does seem to have some subtleties. I can
reword all of this and expand this out if it's desired. Comments are
welcomed.

I'm working on rewriting the description of the resize command in the
manual. I have all of the behavior figured out except for the -p and -l
switches. I see that they're different from -h and -v in that they seem
to take split ordering into consideration. H stands for horizontal, v is
for vertic

I've made a couple of boo-boo's, it seems. These are two small changes
meant to clean them up.

Included here are three changes, two of which I wish I had when I was
beginning to learn screen. The third is that it just seemed like to me
the TOC belongs at the /beginning/ of the manual. Comments are welcome.

Yea, let me ask about this. I have an idea of what I think layers are
about,
I'm trying to update the docs in regards to the new keybindings for
copy-mode. Inside mark.c, I found the the MarkProcess() routine, and
inside that is the large switch by the processchar label. My problem is
that I'm having problems understanding some the cases. For example, on
