I think I have found the solution after reading the text file

I am running the notebook from with SAGE VMware Player. The following
is an extract from the text file above:
"if when you
run notebook it says:
Open Firefox to the address
I am also running Win XP SP3 and get the same error. The error message
on SAGE VMware Player is: sh : cannot create notebook.log: Permission
denied.
Do you mean that I can't run and work with SAGE?
