I'm not a Sage user and don't use Windows any more than I need to - I'm interested in porting Sage to Solaris. But if I recall correctly, when I did build Sage on my own Solaris machine, the URL needed was not a simple IP address, but had a port too. Something like http://localhost:8000 or http://192.168.159.128:8000 or similar. I doubt a normal user would be able to create a server to listen on port 80, which is what would happen if you only typed the URL without a colon and number. But as I say, I have never done this. Just take a note if there is any colon and number. If so, you need them too. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-support@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to sage-support-unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-support URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
