Wouldn't be possible to synchronize the login/password with the ones of trac? Furthermore, if the purpose of this zulip instance is sage development, it would be better to have *only* this trac login authentification active. This way username in zulip would actually matches developers logins on

For me it's useful to scan trac messages of specific components, e.g. symbolics and calculus. You can unsubscribe the full trac feed and subscribe to specific ones. Also, I have decided to use the general calculus stream to be a bit more chatty about what I'm doing. Regards, On Tuesday, August
