Hi,
This is an odd project idea for GSoC; in that I plan to extend the
capabilities of Maxima by adding better numerical support and things
of the sort. Now I know this will not directly benefit Sage given that
you'd prefer to use Numpy/Scipy to do numerics. In the long run
however, I think this

Hi Fernando,
I didn't mean to imply you were suggesting we move to github at all. I
meant that you were suggesting we *consider* moving to github, based on
your own experience. Is that still wrong?

Hi,
I already reported this bug but maybe it is worthwhile to mention the
problem here since this bug crashes Sage (console).
I am using Sage Version 4.8, Release Date: 2012-01-20 compiled from sources
(linux). I found a problem related to the computation of Schubert
Polynomials.
Suppose that

Hi,
please excuse my ignorance especially if this has been covered before, but as
far as I can you can do the fork & pull-request development model with
mercurial as well, e.g. http://bitbucket.org supports it. I have never used it
though and I never used the equivalent on github.
