Really ? Can't installation program ask where the contents of the second

But I do use my redhat CD in a commercial set

You probably can't. The US govt has this wonderful view that US citizens
and companies doing anything like funding encryption work outside the USA
are at least accessories to so

Patent issues. RSA would complain loudly, IIRC.

Since RedHat now has a "domestic" (crypto-enabled) version, it would
make sense to add a few packages:
Some cryptographic library
Some cryptographic Perl modules
openssl
apache-mod_ssl
lsh (freeware ssh)
God willing, this version won't have to remain "dome
I'm having trouble getting the --iscrypted flag to work for a redhat 6.1
install.
I'm using:
rootpw --iscrypted (encrypted sting)
if I just use rootpw (password) everything works fine.

Same here.
The following is what I got from pstree:

Also, there is 11 httpd and 6 mingetty. My box is really heavily populated.
Maybe I should implement an population control policy. :)
Why they are there? Any idea?
Thanks.

must have downloaded an rpm for some other distribution. I can see that
RHS has released two RPMs with the same name:

I sent a more detailed response via e-mail. This is a more general
reply to the list because I believe this represents an interesting
problem.
Printing apparently uses the "magic rules" in /usr/share/magic to
determine file type for printing.
The original Unix "magic" system used the first two
