Bill - you got it - the inverter will hold at the 10A limit. When this limit is achieved, you will see a log entry for "derating mode" The Isc limit for the US-41 is 18A per channel, this is the limit you cannot exceed. Not sure if the US-41 is installed already? If you think you will have good

We got caught once by this, the storage inverter was doing strange stuff, tripping breakers, etc. When I realized it was 120/208, we changed to a storage inverternwhich was specified for the arrangement and never had another issue. It's not just the voltage, the included angle between the cycles is

Hi Bill, Those SMA inverters can handle a max Isc of 18A. Check your module datasheet, but I would assume that you would be under this limit. I've had strings with an Imp of 11-12A and the inverter just adjusts where it is on the MPPT curve to keep the current to under 10A. So there is a little bi

We’ve had an LG front loader for years. Kathleen wrote it up in HP (rip). It’s an “Inverter-Direct Drive” model, whatever that means. Energy Star, of course. It runs on an OLD FX-2524 and has been flawless (so far…). That sound you hear is me knocking on wood…. Bob-O On Oct 21, 2024, at 8:13 A

I've seen this issue with a condo building. A competitor had installed a set of Outback inverters that wouldn't work because of low AC voltage. They had to swap them out for an inverter that would work at 208. From: RE-wrenches on behalf of Dave Tedeyan via RE-w
