We have had issues with older FX / VFX Outback inverters not reliably operating some appliances with electronic controls when the generator is running and charging batteries. Unsure if Radian corrected that. Loads ok on inverter, ok on generator direct, but charging - problems. It's a known issue with harmonics from the charging circuit. It became enough of a problem that we stopped recommending Outback for full time off-grid clients where generator use is a reality in the winter months. Had to replace several units with another brand.

Looking at LG's and I'm wondering if any of you have experience with them running on OutBack inverter power. The Maytag washer I'm replacing ran fine on inverter power but would not operate on Generac Eco-Gen power. Dave Palumbo Hyde Park, Vermont 802-371-8678 voice or text
