Good intel. I believe their micros are rated to -40C/F. If they quit
working at that temp it would be okay as long as they start back up when
if warms up. Normally when it's that cold the sun is pretty scarce at

Personally what I don’t like about single switch A or B is there is an
off time.
With the midnite box, you switch both on, and turn the off the one you
want. That way there is never an off time.

Using this stuff you can build your own spreadsheet or even do the
calcs quickly in your head to a useful level of accuracy once you
have a bit of experience. As I say its a lot easier with metric
units where the wires sizes are multiples of 1 s
elieve it or not we get most of our annual sunshine in the spring.
It's clear and cool. June has more "possible" sun hours but is
generally cloudier so the NREL 30 yr averages show spring to be the most
productive for us. Don't want to miss out on that power if we can help it

are under snow Dec - January for instance, they could show the array
tilt as 90 for that period.
