Never laid on my stomach, I just have kneel pad I use for lots of stuff
but it works good here too. I never get my face that close to the
battery any way. Usually 2 to 3 ft is good.

We had some random 6 volt tray failures from 48 volt Aspens as well, (making
the whole stack look bad, but it was bad MC4 connections. So we just charged
the low trays (6 volts) individually and brought them up. There does however
