can see how it might be great for climbing but otherwise, just too
much of a pain in the ass for the way I like to ride. And yes, I
probably should have gone with a 16t cog or smaller but really, it's a
moot point because regardless of the cog size I won't be ridding fixed
anytime soon.

I use one of those dumbell wrenches from Riv. It fits well in the
tool bag and doesn't have sharp bits to catch on things.
I was tempted by the VO wing nuts, but the price slowed me down enough

Yeah, I tend to agree. I don't mind the double TT but if you're gonna
overbuild it why not just make it more rack/load friendly? It doesn't
need to be as sturdy as a Saga but maybe in-between that and their ES

The latest word is that this first batch, at least will have Canti/V
brake mounts and NOT have the cream head tube. Sounded mostly like
some communication issues between Taiwan and Walnut Creek. It would

I really like the Albatross bars for commuting but anything over 15
miles and I find myself wanting a different bar. I really liked the
way moustache bars felt when climbing but hated them for tricky
descents as the brakes levers felt like they were in a horrible
place.

I've had a S-one on order since January.
I'm 183 cm tall, 91 cm PBH, 62 frame coming.
I will almost certainly put drop bars on this bike. At least for its
first fitting. I have a used Nitto that's narrow on top, flared at
the bottom that will be the first fit attempt.

Both VO and Soma have a few bars that are albatross like, but
narrower. Actually, so does Riv, the Dove Bar -- classic 3 speed
bars. Cheaper than Albatross too!
Soma has that Lauterwasser bar that's sort of half drop half

Glad they worked out. It's nice that they're available. I certainly
wouldn't purchase the P45s again now that the LBs are available. But
then again, I have to say, I've got a pair of P45s that are 4yrs old
and holding up just fine, no cracks or anything.
