Many thanks to everyone for all your invaluable feedback, this has been a
very encouraging response for me to keep going with this project.
Regarding material:
The main reason to use a wool blend vs. 100% wool has been that the wool
blends are lighter weight to deal with the warm weather here.
It's here!
I agree Dave. It's like having the Rivendell Reader back! I was amazed at how
much easier it seemed to be to compare components (handlebar - to - handlebar,

A set of Suntour Superbe road quill pedals, some wear to the cages (anodizing,
etc.). Bearings seem good, but could probably use fresh grease. $45.00. See

A set of well
wball offers. Lowballing may not be an
issue in a friendly forum like this, but you might be surprised by how many
uninvited: "Way overpiced! I'll give you $250 for it." messages you can
receive for the very fairly priced $1k item you posted.

I'm also flying down bikeless, which is OK by me since the Jersey cold/snow
has kept me grounded for many weeks. I'll be there all three days.
We sometimes manage a Classic Rendezvous breakfast during NAHBS, usually
Sat morning, maybe we could do something similar for Riv/iBOB folk?
On Monday,
Great shots! Definitely lots to see at NAHBS, and each show/location
changes the flavors. I finally managed to decompress my brain and put
together some NAHBS 2014 sets yesterday,
The collection should be accessible at the link below. Still have to
edit/add a Peeps/Candid set, maybe tomorrow?
Sorry, forgot my sign-off

Congratulations on winning the contest and on ending up with a spectacular

I suspect you'll find other MUSA options at similar small, bike-related,
fabric-product companies.
