FWIW, I just sent some 48cm Noodles and brake levers to a friend. I used some bubble wrap and put them in a heavy duty contractor trash bag. I wound the excess bag around the bars and taped the 'package'. It worked great. I sent them USPS priority mail and it was $6.72 from Naples to Orlando, FL
