My Toyo (previously assumed to be a Waterford) has mid-fork eyelets and a
kickstand plate, but a Toyo serial number. I think learning how to
differentiate between the serial codes on the BB is really the only way to know.

I have use small amounts of Shoe Goo adhesive to attach wires. In my
experience it holds through all kinds of weather, is removable if need be

I'd agree with the above sentiments that the name was settled on before the
final iteration of the bike. If the bike was named after the final design
was complete, I think 'RoaDuo' would be fitting
