For what it's worth, I found them new at Alexs Cycle in Japan.

As Drew points out, adjusting the gearing by changing to a larger chainring
is the best option. You may need a longer chain so try to time the
chainring change with time for a new chain. It will be significantly
cheaper to switch chain rings than buy new tires, especially RH quality
ones.

I've had a few more short rides on the Roaduno and wanted to share some
more impressions on the setup.
I am liking the Sturmey A2 hub. It encourages a certain mindset when riding
that is different from the mindset that a single speed encourages (which is
usually about maintaining momentum).

Steve, what a great idea. I mean, I’ll look less crazy if more people start buying multiple Platys. Hop to it.LOn Nov 7, 2024, at 7:29 PM, Steve wrote:5'8" male here with an 81cm pbh. I'm on a 50 Platy with a Billie bar mounted on a 100mm Technomic. I'm comfy on the bike though I probably, maybe
You can use this handy tool to test. Here, I’m assuming a 11-36 cassette,
and comparing a 32 vs 34 with 42-622 tires. Oddly, there’s no option for
44-622, but RH tires run a bit smaller than
labeled.

As a short guy (79pbh) who briefly owned a 53 Susie and currently a 54.2

you'll like the 60 Platy.

It's hard for me to imagine that increasing your tire size is going to have
much (any?) actual effect on speed. Which I assume is what we're targeting
here? In my stable, once I get beyond 38mm, I take for granted that those
bikes will be slower. I'm not sure I can gauge how much slower 29x2.

Generally the way to increase tire diameter for a given wheel size is to
