Hi!
My QSLA project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/qsla/), which has also
been quiet for a while, is waking up again.
I'm currently working with new version which, among some other
improvements, includes more beautiful graphics created using jpgraph.
QSLA is a system which pushes Q-S logs fro
Hi again!
It seems that http://xoomer.virgilio.it/j.toribio/qmail-scanner/ is
down for some reason. Could somebody please send me the 1.24st patch?
It's still down. If anybody has the ST patch for Q-S 1.24, I would be
very happy to get it. Thanks!

After some upgrades I did yesterday, Apache has gotten very unstable. So
yes, the site was down for about 8 hours. Sorry!
Now it's up again, and there's version 0.12 of TrashGuardian available.

Dear all,
I've just released version 0.1 of TrashGuardian. TrashGuardian
supersedes SpamGuardian, handling not just spam, but also virus
messages.
TrashGuardian watches Qmail-Scanner's syslog output. It maintains state
tables of viruses, hosts responsible for sending them, and hosts sending
in sp
Howdy!
SpamGuardian 0.6 is out! To my shame, version 0.5 was filled with bugs.
This version fixes (hopefully) all of them, plus it has some new useful
features:
- Release script is run only if host has actually been blocked.
- Added option to send e-mail notifications of new spamhosts and trend

I already have such version ready and running! =)
I'll release it soon. It has couple of bugs I'll have to fix first.
BTW, SpamGuardian 0.5 turned out to be awfully buggy. I'll release a
fixed version du
Howdy!
SpamGuardian is a Perl program that watches Qmail-Scanner's syslog
output. It maintains a table of hosts responsible for sending in spam
messages. It does simple trend analysis on this data, sending alerts
and/or running custom scripts when a) a new spamhost is detected or b)
any single spa

You'll find it here: http://www.turvamies.fi/qs-patches/
Time to sleep, as you can see. ;P

Hi!
Number of Qmail-Scanner add-ons seems to be getting bigger every day. =)
I think a page listing all known add-ons would be a Good Thing (tm).
I'm way too busy to maintain such page myself, but if someone wants to
take the task, I can offer server space from turvamies.fi, q-olio.net or

Hello, world!
I just pushed out version 0.3 of SpamGuardian. Latest changes:
* Added the BlockThreshold feature. You can now specify a spamscore,
which has to be reached before a spamhost is added to blocklist.
* Made logfile parsing slightly less precise.
* Started gathering FAQ information
Hi!
SpamGuardian 0.1 is out. It watches syslog logfile for Qmail-Scanner's
entries. When it finds one, it checks whether or not the message checked
by Q-S is classified as spam. If this is the case, SpamGuardian launches
an external script, which can be made to do - well, anything. =)
You can, fo

Which version of qmail-scanner are you using? Is qmail-scanner-queue.pl
owned by qmailq or qscand? Fsav
Hi!
Here's a repost of a suggestion for a new scanning sub I posted some
time ago. To use this code, you must define $fsecure45_binary and add
fsecure45_scanner to scanner array.
I'm sorry about the line wrapping, don't have the time to fix it now.

Hi again!
Starting from version 4.50, F-Secure Anti-Virus gives out different (and
more informative :) return codes than the earlier versions. Below is my
suggestion for a scanning sub for FSAV 4.50. I've done very little
programming with Perl but this seems to work at least on my own servers.

The server version has a scanning daemon which is running continuously,
making scanning much faster. Workstation version comes without the
daemon

Yeah, I'm running 1.20rc1 with F-Secure AV 4.50 server version. Works
just fine. =)

Hello, world!
My first posting to this list, so hello everyone. =)
I've been running Qmail-Scanner for several years together with OpenBSD
and F-Secure Anti-Virus. It has been working great, blocking efficiently
both known and unknown viruses. Thank you Jason & others!
