Howdy!

SpamGuardian 0.6 is out! To my shame, version 0.5 was filled with bugs.
This version fixes (hopefully) all of them, plus it has some new useful
features:

- Release script is run only if host has actually been blocked.

- Added option to send e-mail notifications of new spamhosts and trend
events to different recipients. If you wish, you can only get
notifications of trend changes - which is probably what you're really
interested in.

- Fixed an awfully stupid bug regarding handling of timestamps (month,
to be more specific) in sub process_entry.

- Fixed a bug inherited from PigSentry, which resulted in wrong
timestamps, causing the state expire time to become ridiculously high.
Replacing POSIX mktime with Time::Local fixed the problem.

- Fixed the bug preventing the -k (kill) option from working. It still
doesn't kill the tail process spawned by daemonized SpamGuardian, so
you'll have to kill it manually. This will be fixed in future versions.

- Changed some default settings (most importantly TrendRetention).
- Fixed some insignificant typos.
- Changes to logging.
- Did some overall cleaning up.

You'll find the thing here: http://www.turvamies.fi/qs-patches/

Note that due to new features, you'll have to upgrade spamguardian.conf
too.

If you wish to be notified of new versions of SpamGuardian, just send an
empty message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I will soon release a close relative to SpamGuardian called
VirusGuardian. It does the same thing as SpamGuardian, but with viruses.
I've got a working version already, but it needs some cleaning up before
I dare to release it. =)

Cheers!

- Jyri
