how to convert binary files from gcc2.x to gcc3.x

Hi I've got a problem about gcc version. There is a driver for AMR modem compiled by gcc 2.x(they only offer binary version), but The kernel of Redhat8 is compiled by gcc 3.x. So the driver doesn't work at all. Is there a tool to convert the .o file to fit the gcc3.x? Thanks
