Hi, I am trying to configure my shared memory on my RH 8.0 server (/proc/sys/kernel/shmmax). When I type the following:
ipcs -lm I see the following entries: max number of segments = 4096 max seg size (Kbytes) = 131072 max total shared memory (Kbytes) = 8388608 min seg size (bytes) = 1 Could someone help explain what these mean?
