mount -t vfat /dev/hd[hd letter][partition number]
/whatever/folder/to/mount/to

Sybase tries to update it but for some reason creates
an empty file instead.
After entering lines with library path and running
ldconfig -v, I was able to boot
without any errors.

In an effort to troubleshoot another problem, I fired-up "neat" and made some changes. When I click on APPLY, the program crashes with a debug report. The changes are not saved. I would like to provide the report, but I'm not able to save it.
In one of the Sybase rpms a check of $RPM_INSTALL_PREFIX is done. This is
used to grep /etc/ld.so.conf . Due to a bug, RedHat bugzilla 75057, in
rpm 4.1 which is shipped in RedHat 8.0 this variable is not set. This
causes the grep to return nothing which in the end is put into
/etc/ld.so.conf.

It seems you want to validate your software on all versions
of RedHat since 6.2, but 6.2 will not run on your new hardware.
I would suggest getting an older system that can run 6.2 or
getting VMware where you can install all the versions on one
machine.

copies ld.so.conf
into /tmp/.sybase.so.conf and later moves it back...
if it doesn't find original file it creates
an empty one and then moves it back... something like

Make sure your have userlist_deny is *not* set to NO in your conf file.
Also, cat /etc/xinetd.d/vsftpd and make sure disable is no. Make sure your

You don't need a driver, you just need to find your hoizonatal and vertical
