It's easy to do, but I recommend ... have the web server return a redirect
(302 status)
If running Apache it's even easier. Point the DNS. Add the non-www name in
the host/vhost file.

In situations where either a server has run out of storage, a btree
database can become corrupted. I see this evidenced in the following
manner, specifically "no cursor":
