Can someone set up a CNAME or alias forhttps://www.postfix.org so that
https://postfix.org works?
That may be possible by adding a DNS postfix.org A record (with the
same IP address aswww.postfix.org), plus webserver configuration
(also accept requests for postfix.org), plus letsencrypt configuration
(name postfix.org and subject alternative namewww.postfix.org).
Is it worth it?
Does it have to "work"
On my site I just have an a-record and a redirect on the proxy, that
eliminates the need for extra certificates.
Or does someone actually need to acces the exact name without "www"?
For me it is worth it because I want to make it easy for the customers
to find me.
YMMV
