Check your SELINUX, APPARMOR etc. "security" configuration.

I read the links and tried some configuration modifications with
soft_bounce and internal_mail_filter_classes parameters but the
notification is still sent to sender. I need to intercept this message
in order to modify one parameter value before sending it.

Hi,
I use postfix 2.7.0 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
I have some dynamic mail list saved in a Mysq table. Outside programs save the
list of users to deliver to
and then send mail to an alias for the list. This is normally low frequency

Actually the policy servers just give control back to postfix and let it handle
the final delivery.

I've been using the default_privs setting to control which user Postfix
uses to deliver mail to external commands. However, I note from the
manual that this setting is only used "from an aliases file that is
owned by root, or when delivery is done on behalf of root".

Thanks, it's really the SELinux problem. The labels of some files in
`/var/spool/postfix/pid` have the wrong label set. Running
`/sbin/restorecon -rv /var/spool/postfix/pid/*` fixed the problem. So
my problem is now solved.
But I have no idea why the labels are changed themselves, though. Will

Hello
This has been a nut that i haven't been able to crack for a long time
now and i was wondering how one would solve this problem.
My setup is the following:
a) Multiple domains hosted in a single box
b) Postfix delivers emails to virtual mailboxes (so all the domains run
under the same vi

Of course, but that wasn't what I was talking about, and it never was.
I was talking about "permit_mynetworks" working properly with an ipv6
link local address specified in mynetworks, and *that* wasn't wo

it make sperfectly sense because this is as example how

OK, I wondered if this was part of it because I did see that it couldn't
pass the connection over to smtpd and would require the other host to try
