Hi:
I tried to order some chemistry from B&H photo today, only
to find that they will not ship what I want.
Anyway, if some kind soul on the list ( I am thinking of a
resident of the USA) would be so kind as to go out to his or her
local darkroom supplier and purchase me 2 x 1qt of Acufine

My old boss did that. Wondered why it didn't work afterwards.
Oh, how we laughed.

You will never lose your hair if you have one. Your love life will be
incredible. If you buy it now, you will save a lot of dough. And, if you
need a 20-35/4 to get a shot, you will have a 20-35/4 to get the shot.

Do they do "lay-away" in your country?
You've nothing to lose by asking.
All they can say is "No".

Although it was said that there are Kodak instant scan and print
machines in some places that will scan slides also, I've never
seen one that does.
Where do I find them?
Also, can someone suggest a place in California's San Jose
area (south bay) that scans color slides?
Thanks,
Tonghang.

You're right, Shel; the point of choosing the 24-35 was to replace 3
primes; in my haste, I simply modified my 28 and 35 recommendations.
Gee--now I needn't state such optimistic prices on the 17/4, 100/4, and 300/4.

I'll second the vote for Tamron SP 90/2.5 MF, and it has the advantage of
macro 1:2 or using the dedicated 2X converter, the lens becomes a 180/5
with 1:1 macro. The lens is very solid great to use excpet that it focuses
the "wrong way" cf Pentax. The vast majority of my photos are "family sn
But don't neglect to try TMZ 3200 in T-Max developer with the developer
at 75 degrees. That's Kodak's recipe, and as one might expect given the
time that Kodak spends researching these things, it's a very good
combination.

I have the Sears 135/2.8, though mine does not have a
macro function. The images taken with it are
outstanding, it is my main portrait lens.
