Morey, One last thought - Wonder if there could be a defect in your sound card's circuitry. It would be interesting to see if you get the same imbalance with another card. But, unless you have an external USB card handy, it's probably too much bother to test that. - Original Message -

Sony makes a good set with a microphone and a headset that is split so that you can hear yourself in one ear and the connection is split off so that a producer can speak to you in the other ear. Sanhouser also makes a couple of models that are also acceptable that have been used in the broadcast

The very best thing you can do is learn how to put everything together on your own server as it were, and then when you do your audition for a station, you'll have everything all put together. You don't have to do it this way but I've found that it's best to have everything all in a row. How

Winamp and Win Media

I was having the same problem. Windowsmedia wanted to play mp3 files. So I re-installed Winamp making sure I had all it's file types checked. Now it's okay. Except that I now can't get Windowsmedia to play radio stations that have WMA files. And neither does Winamp play those even though WMA
