Hi all. Since the sound quality of FM radio isn't as good as CD quality, then
what about FM transmitters like the C-Crane transmitter?

I believe the C Crane sounds pretty good, even though FM itself has some
basic limitations.
I've used the C Crane unit happily for several years and find it quite
adequate for casual listening on a decent FM stereo unit.

Hi Jan,
You should be able to take a .WAV file and work on it in either Studio
Recorder, Sound Forge, or Cool Edit without any problems. Though, I don't
know if any of those others would recognize Studio Recorder's marks.

I would like to thing those folks who where able to help with finding a
mixing program from the Winamp. I seem to run into another problem, when
trying to blend the music onto a CD Is there a knowledgeable person that
knows of so simpler way to mix and blend music onto a CD with another
program
How do I get it to open the tuner card and start going? That's the problem I
have.

I also enjoy the Veronica.
I bought it from the factory about 4-1/2 years ago directly from the

it is already mounted in a case. I bought a metal case from Radio

Hi there,
I apologize again, but I'm seriously looking for an explanation.
I decided, after some suggestions last night, to try something different with
logging onto my particular website which was having trouble with Windows Media
Player. I did this with a dialup connection instead of using my
But if you make a comparison between what you hear on the computer and what
you hear on your stereo, taking into account things people discuss
concerning things like frequency response and dynamic range, does your fm
transmitter sound as good on your stereo as it does on your computer? And

I bet the commercial stations would sound better, never tried one of these
transmitters to see if I could get winamp plugins to come fairly close. I
suppose what you don't want is to feed in more frequency than FM radio would
handle so you'd have to filter some how.

You cant do that because then they will be in a .cda format; and this does
not work. You must rip them, and someone else can help you with this.HTH

With Veronica Transmitters, how do you increase the range? The CCrane uses

Check the file extention. Somebody is thinking that that is as easy as that;
when you highlight the tracks, copy it then paste to your hard drive, that
is definitely wrong. If your file extention is .cda, oh, it's just the
shortcut you got. So observe file extentions before taking any action.

I think the best wireless audio probably would be a Pac Mate or Braille Note
with wifi. One probably still needs a local shoutcast server of some kind to
retransmit stuff. It would be interesting if a shoutcast encoder box existed
in a stand-alone form that you feed it ethernet and audio in and
I thought there was a vxd file you could get that would rip disks this easy.

Well hey, it's perfectly fine, and a pretty damn good question. Nah,
you have to rip them to mp3 or some other format before Winamp will play them.
