you just plug the usb connection in in to the middle plug and make sure that
windows media is set to auto sink. I have downloaded a few mp3s that had
digital rights management and the first time I had to turn on the synk
option. now it works ever6y time.

I use total recorder for my editing because it is the only package that will
let me scan quickly through a file and mark out sections. But you can't beat
the effects in both sound forge nor gold wave so I use gold wave as my
efects editor.
