I don't recall ever being able to play such files with any success despite
Winamp's claim to the contrary . Just wondering. Does WMP require the
use of DRM these days when making WMA files. I was never even tempted to
use WMP for anything but for listening to an audio stream, and that was

Peter,
I'm sure I could do that easy enough, but on some sites, you have too at
least have a browser window open for the site you are on, or the stream
wont play. What I am really trying to do, is to schedule a number of
staggered sessions for recording over maybe a six hour period at a time.
Stephen,
Is it possible that your volume control has been muted? Do you know how to
check for this? Sounds stupid I know, but stuff happens. That's all I can
come up with this early.

HI Gary,
Thanks for answering.
His page is dead, and it has been that way for quite some time, so he has
probably gone out of business. It's very sad, if that's the case, because he
wrote some very cool scripts for sound forge and other programs.
Best regards
Brian

First, I know of no way to use TR with software speech on an older OS,

Hi. Either stereo or mono mix should let you capture streaming
audio. Also, you may have more options than you know. In the volume
control, hit alt-p, then select properties. Tab to the list of choices and
choose recording. Tab again and there will probably be a list of sound
