I have been trying to listen to some spring training games on MLB.com, but
with no luck.I click on the Gameday Audio link, but no games appear there.
I then thought I'd need to log in and then the games would appear, but that
only brings up a list of demographics that you can edit. If anyo
you an clean up sound using Goldwave on your PC. It's free.
You'd have to transfer the audio from your minidisk onto the PC. Then you
copy a tiny bit of the offending background sound to the clipboard before
cleaning it up. Whatever is in the clipboard gets taken out across the
entire recording

Hi, Cher! When you're in the library screen, does Insert H or Insert W
bring up hot keys related to Winamp? If not, I found some scripts at
http://www.jfwlite.com
that should make the library easier to use. It's pretty confusing until you
know a few tricks of the trade, especially when you're
Probably but I haven't used cdex to rip anything.

I just downloaded the winamp 5.33. I wonder what is the best way to install
it for jaws users. I tried picking the custom install and there are 9 items
and some of the items have sub items under them. I suppose you have to check
winamp required. that is the first one. I will not check winamp age
no scripts that I'm aware of. but that might have changed since i tried to
use it about 2 years ago.

To my knowledge, Winamp has never ceased to support Windows 98, so that
would be version 5.33.

One way to thwart the nag screens in winamp, at least this works with
5.32, is to re-launch winamp from a desktop icon or keyboard
shortcut. this restores the main screen and the nag message doesn't
seem to reappear.

It's a jaws problem, and a pain. I don't honestly know when the last time
they updated the scripts, probally only enough to make sure it compiles in

I have a ton of high-quality cassettes that I would like to transfer to my
PC, but I'm not sure how to do it. Is there a program I can use which will
allow me to select the sound quality when transferring tapes, and what
hardware equipment and steps are necessary for doing this? Thanks.
