But how do I uninstall it? There isn't any script to do that, is there? And I
don't remember where it got installed...
And also, Alan, I already DO have an xorg.conf . Thanks anyway, that command

Hmm.. I overlooked the earlier details. Yes you should be able to run
the 3d stuff. looks like you need an xorg file. Have you tried the
BeleniX method I mentioned?

Consider using ZFS and using the much more powerful ACLs it provides. I
think you should be able to express what you want that way.
I don't think you can easily do that with UFS ACLs though.
