Actually I meant the screen where the To:, Subject: lines are, and also
the attachment window is. I also use vim and have the colors working
there, but alas I see no way to change the window where the addressing
is.

For a mailbox I do not own, mutt -y does not always show the
presence of new mail. In particular, if .muttrc includes
mailboxes =foo
and I have (group) read/write access to foo but do not own it,
mutt -y apparently accesses foo. As a result the "N" flag does
not appear (apparently a ra

This might be better:
folder-hook . "set move=no"
folder-hook in.foo "set move=yes"

An alias is a short-name that you can enter in place of a longer E-mail
address. Is that what you meant?

Hello,
Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I've looked all through
the FAQs and mailing list archives for an answer to this one to no avail.
I'm trying to use mutt with gpg (version outputs of these programs included
below). Everything seems to be working correctly except for se
I have been using mutt for some time now and really like it.
However, it has one behaviour that I have not been able to
understand or change: the way it shows threads in the
message list. I have ascii_chars set, and the expected
lines and arrows are shown; however sometimes messages are
shown as

By default, mutt threads messages according the Subject:.

Hi list!
I'm using the groovy mailer mutt, as you might expect. I have installed
version 0.95.6i, and use it together with the GNU Privacy Guard, version
0.9.7.
But I have a problem with encrypting messages to the recipient:
everytime I use
PGP: Sign, Encrypt
I get the prompt
Enter keyID
I'm getting the same thing. I wonder could it have anything to do with extra
output from gpg on my system going to stderr:
gpg: Warning: using insecure memory!
I haven't looked at the pgp code yet from mutt yet, but suppose it could be a
quick hack if this is the case. Alternately, maybe
