I run an IMAP server (Dovecot) on the same computer as Mutt. And my
mobile points at this server.
Th
computer I filter these mails locally to put them in the folder for sent
messages. This way I can see all my sent messages in mutt.
Unfortunately mutt doesn't add the replied message status flag when the
reply mail is added to the sent messages. I thought it would be able to
do this by someho

Hi,
I use fcc_clear to store unencrypted copies of encrypted sent
messages. Now I would like to add an extra header field to these local
copies (for later reference), but not to the mail that is being sent
out. Is this possible with mutt? I could not find a solution in the
manual or online

Hi!
Is it possible to save two copies of sent messages? The idea is to have
a copy of sent messages depending on the recipient, and another copy
depending on the account sent.
This is what I have so far:

mailbox depending

Thanks so much for the help and tips. I'll take it all on board.
Since my messages, another thought occurred to me. Again forgive me
if it seems i'm asking silly questions, but what i've picked up so
far has only been what i've found on the web;

Generally speaking, they are stored wherever you have specified in
your muttrc. Specifically, you use the $record variable, e.g.:

Could you tell me how to store the messages I've sent ?
I don't know to configure muttrc to have this behavior. I've searched
as far as I can but I couldnt find any answer and my sent mails are

Hi,
I've set my sent-mail folder to ~/Mail/sent-mail. Mutt creates the
folder, but the mail is not saved.
I suppose this should be done, if the $record variable is set.

write the sent message because /foldername/sent does not exist. I
