Yes, but you must have 'unset autoedit' in your muttrc; if not set,
there isn't any data for the send-hook to work with.

As far as mutt is concerned, try setting 'send_charset' (in muttrc)
to iso-8859-1; perhaps setting 'locale' (in muttrc) to iso-8859-1
will help.
hoppas du får det att funka!

I take it you're not using the port; is this CVS-mutt you're
fighting with? If so, try with gmake (GNU make) instead of make.

ells mutt to look in the headers, and the ~f matches 'from'.
Study the manual carefully to find more ways of doing this!

Is this in X or console? If in X, maybe it's some kind of
problem with the $TERM you use? Do other color apps look OK?

That's how I do it.

Hmmm. SA seems to be right at least 8 times out of 10 for me anyway.
And let's not forget that it *is* configurable.
Seriously:

Just a thought: You do use the same (type of) shell on both

terminology for the environment variables.

Okay, did som testing (nothing thorough, mind you), and this seems
to be one of many(?) ways of doing it in Mutt.

I guess these'll take precedence over the original values in your

If what you're trying to do is simply to fetch all messages from the
POP-server to a local mailbox, though, I'd suggest using something like
Fetchmail (http://tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/), as indeed The

Hi all.
I've been googling around and reading TFM wor quite a while now, but
to no avail:
I'm tired of seeing ' To mutt-users' in the index; I would like to
see my address instead.
I suppose the solution is to change... index_format? (WAG)
Please help me with this
the following in your
~/.Xdefaults (_instead_ of mucking around with $TERM):
xterm*termName: xterm-color
That should fix you "no-colour while in x-term-problem".

IIRC, '>' is the default for tcsh (and (again, IIRC) '%' is the default
