I am using a low price camera and get some garbage on borders.
I have been using
yuvdenoise -b 16,16,704,560 | mpeg2enc
But still, I have some bad borders, wasting bits for proper encoding on the
center. Top is actually cut off Ok, but not on the bottom (really bad )
and not on the righ

If you are using an 8mm or VHS camera then even expensive ones
generate tape/head noise. I usually needed to blacken between 4 and
