Hi I am using a low price camera and get some garbage on borders. I have been using
yuvdenoise -b 16,16,704,560 | mpeg2enc But still, I have some bad borders, wasting bits for proper encoding on the center. Top is actually cut off Ok, but not on the bottom (really bad !!!!) and not on the right side which remains slightly green. Does not happen with Dv tapes, and does with VHS and Hi8 (and probably video8 I guess !) Any help someone ?
