As I recall you have used the double/triple synth voices, as did I for many
years. I hate the default alex foice on the mac. The tom voice
comes closest to the double/triple voices.

Yes, the standard vo + key commands work fine. For example, vo + a from
current position to end of screen. Interact with text when in
terminal works best. There are screen readers meant for terminal such as
speakup; and a google will find them. Here are two I know nothing
