I"m having sort of the same issue, only I'm trying to drag an AVI file into iDVD, but the issue is that when I do VO command shift space for a mouse down then switch to idvd and route the mouse and do that same command again for mouse up, it does another mouse down, so how am I supposed to drag

I tend to concur with that assessment, but this script should be easy enough to set up. rather than do as the page says and install it via the system preferences, one could just open voiceover and make a keyboard commander short cut as none of us would be working with a ma without voiceover anyw
