I did a memory upgrade on my mini in 2013. The back goes on but requires a
fair amount of force to lock it in position. I probably used to hands and
placed my thumbs in the two holes on the back cover.

solution on the Mac as yet. Adobe reader on Windows with NVDA does a
reasonably good job with this. An accessible version of Adobe on the mac would
be quite helpful.

Ok guys, I got it working.
Once I copied the VLC.app file to the /Applications folder, everything seems to
be working. I oroginally tried running the app from the /Volumes folder.

two partitions on the drive: one for TM backups (mac) and a second for your

If you're running Seil, you don't need sharp keys. Seil can remap the caps
lock key to the insert key. Carabiner also gives you a numeric keypad which
you can access using the fn plus the keys on the right side (7 8 9 u i o j k l

When I start windows and am sure it has focus, I turn VO off. This is done by
hitting command + control followed by cmd + f5.
To move back to the mac I turn VO on with cmd + control followed by cmd + f5

experiment with. I personally have disabled the mac host shortcuts. I alsoo
turn off most of the fusion shortcuts except for command Plus control which I

Are you using conversation view in Mail? If so, your messages are probably
being grouped.
Which website causes VO to crash?
Have you ran disk utility and repaired permissions since upgrading to Lion?

Yes I have seen this too, and it happens in standard view also. I think it has
something to do with Mail sorting the items into newest first, previously the
oldest message would appear first. I have reported this to Apple, I suggest you
do the same.

I can confirm this issue no longer happens with Lion.
I used to experience the same problems whilst reading UK online newspapers.
Am pleased to say that annoying issue is now history.
